Se cree que <strong>cientos de personas murieron<\/strong>, <strong>m\u00e1s de mil resultaron heridas <\/strong>y <strong>muchas casas fueron destruidas y da\u00f1adas.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>En Bermal, provincia de <strong>Paktika<\/strong>, hemos abierto una<strong> cl\u00ednica de ocho camas<\/strong> que funciona las<strong> 24 horas<\/strong> donde los pacientes son estabilizados hasta que pueden ser derivados para recibir atenci\u00f3n adicional. Apoyamos tambi\u00e9n<strong> actividades ambulatorias<\/strong> y un consejero psicol\u00f3gico ha comenzado a brindar <strong>primeros auxilios psicol\u00f3gicos<\/strong> a los sobrevivientes. Un<strong> equipo quir\u00fargico <\/strong>y una <strong>partera <\/strong>partieron de Khost el s\u00e1bado para reforzar el personal m\u00e9dico en las zonas afectadas.<\/p>\n<p>Hemos donado suministros m\u00e9dicos y tiendas de campa\u00f1a a los centros de salud de Gayan y Bermal.
